New Vehicle Graphics and Facility Signage

Due to previous signs becoming faded, cracked, and peeled in the hot African sun, PDR was in dire need of new graphics. Research vehicles must be properly identified as well as the facility sign that labeled the driveway entrance to PDR from the main road and the perimeter entrance gate. Thanks to Joel’s design skills, he developed each new sign, and PDR USA had them printed. The graphics were rolled up into transport tubes, and our friend Mike Malden from Zoo Miami packed them in his suitcase and brought them to Zimbabwe.

Mary removed the old door stickers from vehicles, which was not an easy task, and then carefully applied each of the new door graphics. MK and the welding team crafted new sign frames for the roadside and the entrance gate signs. This makes it much easier for visitors to find the PDR Conservation Ecology Centre and easily recognize PDR’s research trucks in the community and in the field.
