Help Shape the Future of Painted Dog Research as a Board Member

For nearly four decades, Painted Dog Research has combined field-based science, conservation, education, and community engagement to give endangered African painted dogs a better chance of survival. Today, that work continues through our conservation programs in Zimbabwe and through the support of Painted Dog Research USA in the United States.

As some of our valued board members complete their terms, Painted Dog Research USA is beginning the process of identifying new leaders to join our Board of Directors.

We are looking for people who share a deep commitment to protecting endangered painted dogs, community-based conservation and education, and who are prepared to actively participate in board responsibilities and can help build the resources and relationships needed for PDR's future.

You don't have to be a conservation scientist to make a difference. Often, the most valuable contribution is a skill, professional network, new perspective, or connection that helps our conservation work reach further. As we continue to build our strategic board, we are particularly interested in supporters who can bring expertise in:

• Finance/accounting

• Fundraising/grant writing

• Marketing/communications

• Digital/social media 

• Event planning/coordination

• Non-profit governance

• Legal/non-profit law

• Strategic planning

• Business management

• Education/outreach
